The Thirsy Crow

On a hot sunny day, there was a crow feeling very thirsty and looking for water.
The crow has been looking for water for a very long time, and it could not find any traces of water. It was losing its hope and became tiered.
At this point, the crow saw a jug below a tree. With a hope of finding water, it flew down to the jug. To its surprise, there was water in the jug.
But to its disappointment, the water level was too low. It tried to peek into the jug but the neck of the jug was too narrow.
It tried to tilt the jug so that it could drink water, but the jug was very heavy to tilt.
The crow was very worried. Still, it was thinking as if there was a way to drink the water. It looked around and found some pebbles. It got an idea. It picked one pebble and dropped into the jug. The water level increased a bit.
The idea is working. It started to drop one pebble after another till the water reached the top of the jug. At one point after dropping many pebbles, the water raised to the top.
The crow drank the water and flew away happily.
தாகம் கொண்ட காகம்
ஒரு வெயில் நாளில், ஒரு காகம் மிகவும் தாகமாக உணர்ந்து தண்ணீரைத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்தது.
காகம் பல மணி நேரம் தண்ணீர் தேடியும் தண்ணீரின் தடயத்தை காணவில்லை. அது நம்பிக்கையை இழந்து தளர்ந்து போனது.
இந்த நிலையில் காகம் ஒரு மரத்தின் கீழே ஒரு குடம் இருப்பதைக் கண்டது. தண்ணீர் கிடைக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன், அது குடத்திற்கு கீழே பறந்தது. ஆச்சரியப்படும் விதமாக குடத்தில் தண்ணீர் இருந்தது.
ஆனால் ஏமாற்றமளிக்கும் வகையில் நீர்மட்டம் மிகவும் குறைவாக இருந்தது. அது குடத்தை எட்டிப்பார்க்க முயன்றது ஆனால் குடத்தின் கழுத்து மிகவும் குறுகலாக இருந்தது.
அது தண்ணீர் குடிக்கும் வகையில் குடத்தை சாய்க்க முயன்றது ஆனால் குடம் மிகவும் கனமாக இருந்தது.
காகம் மிகவும் கவலையடைந்தது. ஆனாலும், தண்ணீர் குடிக்க வழி இருக்கிறதா என நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தது. அது சுற்றிப் பார்த்தபோது சில கூழாங்கற்களைக் கண்டது. அதற்கு ஒரு யோசனை வந்தது. அது ஒரு கூழாங்கல்லை எடுத்து குடத்தில் போட்டது. நீர்வரத்து சற்று அதிகரித்தது.
யோசனை வேலை செய்கிறது. குடத்தின் மேல் தண்ணீர் வரும் வரை அது ஒன்றன் பின் ஒன்றாக கூழாங்கற்களை இறக்கத் தொடங்கியது. ஒரு கட்டத்தில் பல கூழாங்கற்கள் விழுந்த பிறகு, தண்ணீர் மேலே உயர்ந்தது.
காகம் தண்ணீரைக் குடித்துவிட்டு மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பறந்து சென்றது.
