However, you must follow certain rules as listed below to adhere to the guidelines:
- The chaser is only able to run in one direction.
- If the chaser needs to change direction, he/she must reach the pole and change direction. The chaser cannot change direction between the poles.
- However, the defender is able to change direction in between.
- The defender is allowed to pass through the player sitting on the other side.
- The chaser is not allowed to pass through the players.
- However, the players can tag one of their fellow inactive chasers while saying the word ‘Kho’ to pass on the chase to them. The moment a ‘Kho’ is said, the tagged chaser becomes the active chaser and the one who gave the ‘Kho’ becomes inactive and must sit down in the active chaser’s position
Once the chaser touches the three defenders, they lose and move out, allowing the next three players to enter the game. The game continues until all nine players on the defending team have been eliminated.
After all nine defenders have been eliminated, the roles are reversed. The defending team becomes the chasers, and the chasers become the defenders as the second innings begins.
The ultimate winner will be the team that completes the game in the shortest amount of time.
